On 9/6 a protest marched through North Portland. A section of the PPB news release states ""Two arrestees had ballistic vests, including one, marked with the word "press," with rifle plates (photos)." The mention of protective clothing, especially by noting a "PRESS" vest, implies there was an active assessment that these pieces of gear were meaningful and perhaps connected to unlawful activity. https://www.portlandoregon.gov/police/news/read.cfm?id=261173 Please share this incident commander report. There is an immense public interest in police accountability, crowd control, and use of force, this request is extremely urgent. Please expedite it in every way possible. Given the public interest and civilian oversight currently under way on this, I expect a waiver to be granted. Please do not ask me to fill out a waiver request. Please let me know immediately if my request is denied so I can appeal. Please do not delay my request pending a deposit. If there is an estimated fee please let me know immediately as well."
